RCS Graphic Worx is an established name in the custom world and is able to provide a quality service at an affordable price. Specializing in custom paint for radio controlled cars, boats, helicopters, crash helmets, pushbikes, motorcycles and anything that will stay still long enough for us to paint it!

Custom Airbrush Artwork


Competitively priced at £20 p/h plus the cost of materials used. Material cost will vary depending upon the type/brand of paints used to achieve the desired results. Minor repair/bodywork may be done in shop but can only be known upon inspection of the parts in question. All other cases will be referred to the body shop before any artwork can commence.

Exact prices for a particular job cannot be guaranteed as no two are alike. Someone might think job 'A' and job 'B' might appear similar but the amount of time involved, prep work, detail etc. can vary tremendously. What I can do is give an estimated price range that different items may fall into.

I need to stress that these are guideline only and I won't compromise standards if something has to go slightly over quote. Likewise though, if a project I quoted 30 hours for only takes 25 then you will only pay for the hours worked!

Good customer service and satisfaction make for good business and at RCS that is our number one goal!

Postage and Delivery

It is recommended with items like fenders and helmets that they be dropped off and picked up in person. Although, postage can be arranged via courier at cost. Obviously these decisions will be made by you depending upon your location and preference.

Postage prices for mainland UK via courier start from approximately £12.50. This will depend on the weight, size and the value of compensation and tracking required for the item(s).

Overseas buyers should note that international postage rates are quite high when certain weights and sizes are exceeded but this can be discussed before any work commences.


Radio Controlled Body shells


All prices are given as a guideline for the paint work and sealing only, unless stated otherwise.

  • 1/16, 1/18 FTX, Shark, Blaze (or similar size) 3 Colour's - £25.00
  • 1/10 Buggy 3 Colour's - £30.00
  • 1/10 Touring Car 3 Colour's - £35.00
  • 1/8 Buggy 3 Colour's - £35.00
  • 1/8 Truck, Truggy and Baja 5b is £40.00
  • 1/8 On-Road and SC10 size 3 Colour's - £45.00
  • 1/5 FG Baja 3 Colour's - £45.00
  • Pit/Car stands 3 Colour's - £25.00
  • 1/10 Buggy Undertrays from £17.50
  • Pit Boards are charged by surface area. Example: 500x500mm board would be charged at approximately the same rate as an 1/8 truck/truggy.
  • Wings - 2x Single colour wings or 1 pattern wing will be painted in the quoted price. Painting of extra wings are only undertaken if sent in addition with your shell/s. Touring car wings are plain £2, patterned £4. Buggy wings plain £2.50 patterned £5. Wings sent seperately to shell/s and as a sole project may incur additional fees.

  • Extra colour's are generally £3.00 each but do vary (+/-) accordingly with design complexity.
  • 1/5 (buggy) MCD, Elcon Cleon, FG etc. 3 Colour - £85 - 1/5 SC/T 3 colour £100 Paint Job and Sealing Only. Extra colours are generally £5.00 each.

Most shells come with a clear protective film on them however some do not. Ones that don't, will be charged £2.50 for sizes upto (but not including) 1/5. 1/5 shells will be charged £10 for the extra work this causes.

Cutting out bodyshells - This will only be done upon request. Shells will be cut out along marked body lines only. This includes engine and fuel tank holes. Touring car arches will only be cut out upon request and if the customer has marked out the lines on the body. Body post holes are not drilled. Cutting costs as follows.

  • Other sizes generally not undertaken but please feel free to ask if required

Rush orders are available in which case you are put to the top of the list and turnaround will be as quick as possible and generally within the week. This service depends on current workload as I will not keep customers waiting unnecessarily. Prices will be given once the type/size and specifics of the job requested are known.

Postage and Delivery

Items can be dropped off and collected in person or shipped to and from depending on your location and/or preference.

Bodyshell postage prices for mainland UK start from approximately £7.50 for a single shell via next day Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Multiple body shells will be given an approximate quote with final postage costs calculated upon completion, packaging and weighing of the shells.

Heavier items like pit boards or larger / more valuable items may be shipped via courier and like overseas postage, will be discussed with the customer prior to commencing with any work.
